Last updated: 19 August 2026
Scholtes Magazine is the controller for personal data processed through this website. This page explains the rights you have and how to use them, wherever you are in the world.
Rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR
- Access — receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data where no legal or editorial-archive ground requires us to keep it.
- Restriction — limit processing while a dispute is examined.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time.
- Withdraw consent — without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
- No automated decision-making — we do not make decisions producing legal effects solely by automated means.
Rights under the CCPA/CPRA and similar laws
California residents and residents of comparable jurisdictions may request disclosure of the categories of data collected, request deletion or correction, and are protected against discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal data for cross-context behavioural advertising.
How to make a request
Email office@scholtesmagazine.com with the subject “Data request”. We verify identity through the email address on your account and respond within one month; complex requests may be extended by two further months, and we will tell you if that applies.
Complaints
You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Romania this is ANSPDCP; in the EU you may also contact the authority of your habitual residence, and in the UK the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Processors and transfers
We use processors for hosting, authentication, email and payments under data processing agreements. Transfers outside the EEA/UK rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
